To a strange and distant land...

Looks like the trip for the weekend is back on - gotta spend the next couple days packing, leaving instructions for my roommate so he doesn't kill the cats, and getting the photo gear together. The place we are staying is right next to a wildlife sanctuary, something I don't usually shoot - but I haven't had the real camera out in so long, it'll take me a while to figure it out. I bought a cheap Russian fisheye lens from eBay about a year ago and haven't had a chance to play with it yet, so I guess now's my chance. If I get any good pics I'll put them up here, but I will try to remember to post from the road and send some cell phone pics to the MoBlog (see link at right)...
