What's your budgie named?
We named him "Elroy". I actually considered naming him "Budgie" as a New Wave of British Heavy Metal tribute thing, but my wife didn't get it...
Elroy is an AWESOME name.
I hadn't considered naming a budgie Budgie, but it does work on several levels.
When I finally get a bird, I'ma name it Killer. Should I end up with more than one parrot, they'll be named Killer, Bruno, Sarge, and Hank (in that order).
Of course, if I get finches instead, they'll just be Killers One through Five. They won't mind, after all.
